There's a reason the beautiful people train here--it's a beautiful gym. – The Space Madison Square Club is that rarest of finds--a high-end health club that has invested as much loving care in the physical environs as it will in your physical fitness. The upscale changing rooms have wooden lockers, frosted-glass shower doors, and marble (or blue glass) pedestal sinks. Rugs--from founder David Kirsch's trips to Turkey and Greece--grace the training room floor while individual television sets with headphones are hooked up to the cardio machines. The Services Kirsch has no trouble attracting trainers or club members. Indeed, they find him. And with good reason. A former lawyer, he's the perfect health advocate: His nonstop sequence of exercises ensures the lean look favored by his model and actor clients; his quietly assured manner instills you with the belief that you're learning to maximize your potential.
