Line is slow and awkward - needs barricades to direct the flow. Excessive fees are charged for cards; and, I do not remember seeing a fee disclosure. Visa requires the disclosure be posted at the entrance and at the point-of-sale. Visa limits credit surcharges to 3% or actual fees paid by merchants, whichever is less. Merchants typically do not pay a fee for debit card transactions: but, this surcharge is prohibited by Visa regardless. MasterCard does not seem to have any fee restrictions.

After purchasing a used vehicle from a private seller, I needed a temporary plate and registration. The vehicle was purchased in Madison, NC so we went to The Madison License Plate Agency on 101 E Murphy St. It took a little time, but I didn't mind the wait. I have multiple cars and I am in there a lot. They have always been very professional and kind. These ladies are very knowledgeable. If they don’t know, they go above and beyond to find out. They are very helpful.
