The fancy sparkle and updated appearance unfortunately stopped at the curb appeal. The staff has the WORST bedside manner and there is no real care or concern for patients nor their family (an extension of the patient)!!! After hours of waiting --ta-dah-- there is nothing wrong, but follow up with a primary care. Pain at an EIGHT you say?? Ibuprofen! Reoccurring joint swelling WITH this pain huh? Discharge papers!! Very dismissive. Jeremey laughed at me on the phone and said “Absolutely not I was not having a medical emergency” after inquiring for a second opinion about an MRI for serve pain after a fall on my knee. It was the most unprofessional phone call I’ve ever had. Shame on these people in the emergency department.

I went to the ER here with chest pains and was treated promptly and efficiently. They did everything they could and then determined i needed to be transferred and made those arrangements.

Bed side manners are virtually non-existent and far and few in-between. When I arrived here to be with my daughter, there was NO person sitting at the front desk of the emergency department; and was absent for a few minutes. I waited. If I had been in crisis...how may that have ended for me? The phlebotomist was cruel and crude. She needs to be reprimanded, as all she did was encouraging fear and anxiety, AND invalidated my daughters needs. If someone says they're going to throw up, you believe them.
