When my daughter was born, I used to come here for the WIC office. I was trying to pump because she wouldn't latch, but I wasn't sleeping and she had awful reflux from my milk. When I went to the office to get formula, they told me, "I know you think you're doing what's best for your baby, but you're not."
I visited the Madison County Health Department for medical services, and I want to recognize the employees who were kind, respectful, and helpful during my visit. However, I was disappointed and uncomfortable with my experience at the front desk. During multiple visits, I observed two employees whispering and laughing among themselves when Hispanic patients arrived.
