Call ahead... My favorite place to get my hair done since I moved to phoenix. I always get a great hair cut, so I don't even bother going anywhere else, even tho they are a little pricey. Super friendly, too.
Pedicure Salon is BEST I always enjoy my pedi spa treatments at Madison. I have been going there for 3 months after trying other phoenix spas and resort spas for years. The price is reasonable and they have a referral program for even more discounts. Ask for Debbi!
Unsatisfied I came to this place with the idea that they are hair color professionals but was wrong, I asked for a color change and showed them what I wanted but the outcome was horrible not even close to the hair color I asked. The worst part is that it was done by an Artistic Director who never got the color right, and I still cannot believe I paid so much for this. I was there three times for a color correction and the results were awful. One of the managers was a bit discourteous at first when dealing with all this. Now ... read more
Poor and Unorganized Service The second week of May I made an appointment for Wednesday, June 12th at 10:30 a.m. with Madison Avenue Salon and Day Spa Fulton Ranch for my mother to get a perm. I do not recall who I spoke with however I pointed out repeatedly that this was for a perm and cut for my mother. Moreover, I pointed out I would be out of the country for one month (arriving on the 11th of June) so this needed to be secured before I leave. I was assured that this was not a problem. AMAZING I treated my mom and myself to a day at Madison Avenue and we were amazed at how well we were treated from the moment we walked in the door. Our massage and facials were great as well as our manicures and pedicures in a setting that was just gorgeous. There is a reason why they have been around and so successful for 10 years. I look forward to my next visit.
Poor Management I paid for a full service shampoo and style that I did not completely receive. I called the manager to ask why I had to pay for a shampoo and style [$55] when all they did was quickly curl my hair [poorly at that] without a shampoo and her reponse for me was... "That is just the way it is." The manager could have cared less that I was not pleased. If the manager was uncaring at Madison, then I will make sure that everyone I know continues to go to Dolce Salon and Spa.
