This was the worst ER experience I've ever had. My 2-year-old got hurt while playing, so we took him there. The most frustrating part was that they kept calling in people who arrived after us, while we just sat and waited. We ended up waiting for over 6 hours before someone finally called us and took us into a room, where we had to wait even longer. In the end, they did nothing for my baby. I do not recommend this place.
If you want to wait 6 hrs to be seen this is the place to be. On top of that if you have a legit issue going on that needs medical attention they'll give you a pat on the back and you'll be on your way, DESPITE the multiple and I mean multiple times my wife has gone in there. This isn't the first time either. 6 years and nothing has changed. She had to go to another ER and it only took her this one time somewhere else and theyre already running multiple tests without question. Madigan is the worst by far.
What an absolute joke. Sit here for 4.5 hours while the entire lobby filled and emptied twice. Waste of time. Horrible staff that's obviously burnt out and numbed to having any empathy whatsoever. Pathetic
