We've booked a number of places through Madeline Island Vacations and they are, hands down, the best on the island. Most places are dog friendly and everywhere we've stayed is well kept and comfortable. Responsive to questions, always flexible- as bookings allow. Recommend booking as far out as you can, but far superior (swidt?) to airbnb or vrbo rentals.
