I have never in my life had a doctor take such a thorough and detailed history, or had one who answered every question I had, who had a good plan to take care of my seizures if my current meds stopped working, and who gave me legitimate hope for my future health and life in general. Dr. Fields did what she could for me, I believe, but most importantly she was honest when she couldn’t help me, rather than trying to drag things out uselessly or counterproductively, or pretend my illness was anything other than what it is. For that, she has my respect.
Dr. Fields has given my daughter a normal life and thanks to her my daughter hasn't had a seizure in 5 years. She is always there to help and answer any and all questions I have. She is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to explain in a way you understand.
Dr. Fields is one of the most kind and attentive specialists I've encountered in New York. She treated my seizure disorder and related symptoms. The diagnostic was throrough and her consultations were helpful. Her office staff is good and appointments were on time. I highly recommend her.
I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable, personable, proactive in dealing with your issues and gets back to you quickly.
Dr. Fields was very helpful during the first appointment. After that, she has not thoroughly answered emails and has not responded to my request for a quick phone conversation, which I have only requested because she didn't answer my questions via email. It has been difficult to schedule my next appointment within a reasonable amount of time. She has been nice and caring during the appointment but no, I do not feel like I have received thorough quality care.
Dr Fields treats my wife for epilepsy. She is a breath of fresh air after trying to navigate through a few other neutologists and hospitals. She always takes the time to hear our concerns. We never feel rushed like many other doctors, especially neurologists, who want you in and out as fast as possible. She is a credit to her profession and is everything a good doctor should be. She is courteous patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. Great staff and office as well. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
