It took me over 18 months to source my Tessa T2 chairs, they are extremely rare as they were only produced for 3 years in the late 60s… so I was very fussy with getting them restored Adam from ModaNest did an amazing job restoring the wood. He then recommended Maddy King to do my upholstery. Maddy‘s precision and eye for detail meant she did a brilliant job, restoring the chairs to their former glory I’m extremely happy with the final product and couldn’t recommend Maddy highly enough.
Thrilled with the experience working with Maddy. She listened, was open to trialling creative ideas and provided thoughtful feedback based on her expertise throughout the process. The finish on final product, a reupholstered lounge, was of an extremely high quality.
I am so happy with Maddy’s work restoring my father’s rocking chair. She was so helpful to me as I made my fabric choice and was a delight to deal with from start to finish.
I asked Maddy if she might be able to repair my worn out piano bench seat in the same design. She recovered the piano bench in high quality leather and perfectly matched the pattern and stitching but even better than the original! The piano bench is now far more comfortable to sit on too. I highly recommend Maddy King design for attention to detail and outstanding workmanship!
