Our family has used Maddux Fuqua Hinton Funeral home for many years. The staff are very compassionate and helpful in handling arrangements and make it as easy as possible during a difficult time. They are also very generous with their time doing volunteer work for bereavement groups etc. I highly praise their services!

I cant understand why anyone would feel negative towards this funeral home. I am not in any way affiliated with anyone that works there. My familys experience with Maddux Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home when my father passed away was outstanding. They went above and beyond to support us during our time of grief. Andy Shemwell and all of his staff are top of the line people who definitely picked the right field to work in. My praises and sincere appreciation go out to them!!!
I agree that these people arent fit to bury a family pet, much less a member of the family. High pressure sell tactics are employed on grieving families. When we didnt go for the top-of-the-line product, we were treated like trash. I remember when this funeral home was run by dignified, classy and intelligent individuals. It is now run by scam artists. Avoid if you can.
wouldnt have them bury my dog, much less a family member. All they are concerned about is getting their money, could care less about the family they are serving.
