Compared to another quote I received, their technician diagnosed the issue more accurately, identifying a faulty condenser unit. The repair was completed within two hours after coordinating with building management and securing access.
Compared to the previous HVAC company we used, this technician took the time to thoroughly inspect our heating system and identified a minor part that needed replacement. He completed the maintenance in about an hour, ensuring everything was functioning properly before leaving.
The vent cleaning revealed a significant buildup of dust that was affecting airflow, and although the technician efficiently addressed it within an hour, they left some residue on the surrounding furniture which I had to clean up myself.
Before deciding, we had been dealing with an underperforming air conditioning system for weeks, which made our home uncomfortably warm. When another company recommended replacing the whole unit, this AC repair specialist identified a faulty compressor and installed a new one efficiently in just over two hours, saving us a considerable expense.
The problem turned out to be a malfunctioning compressor, which they replaced efficiently, taking just over two hours. While the technician was courteous and knowledgeable, I wish he had communicated more clearly about the costs during the repair process.
