Maddie’s Place was excellent from start to finish. Everything came out hot, fresh, and expertly prepared. The chicken and andouille sausage gumbo was loaded with meat and had great flavor, and the grilled redfish with green beans and cheddar grits was outstanding. I finished with the pecan pie and vanilla bean ice cream, which was a great ending to the meal. My only minor complaint was the fried green tomatoes.
