I also just had a terrible experience. I was calling to see about having the owner do work on a home. The woman who answered asked rudely, "what do you need?" as I started to explain she said "nope" and hung up on me. I called back to see why she would respond so rudely before I even stated any details of the work I needed. She answered, "Look. He's not interested." Evidently they do not want your work, it doesn't matter what it is, they clearly don't even care to find out. So save your dial.
Harry barely earned 1 star. After calling and texting starting November 14, he finally showed up on January 10th to start work. All we needed was approx 4 feet of chimney above the roof line torn down and then capped. Harry showed up at some point on 1/10 and was gone by 1430. He later claimed that they spent 9 hours on site that day. They tore down approx 1 foot and put a tarp over the now open topped chimney. Mr. Madden stepped up to help the Enon Pee Wee Football Organization install a new 20' scoreboard at the local VFW football field. He donated his time and resources to insure that the scoreboard was placed solidly in the ground and met all county inspection requirements. He was gracious enough to house the five large score panels in his equipment barn until the day of installation. Without Harry we couldn't have undertaken such a monumental task. Thank you for your dedication to the community and excellent service!
First of all, I want to say that Mr. Madden does good work. It is quality, but that is where it ends. I say this a consumer and customer of Mr. Madden. It is his customer service and responsiveness that is the issue. When it comes to the larger scaled job, Mr. Madden is eager to get the business, but once the job is done and punch out items are needed, it is a struggle to get him complete what Is needed.
