Food was mostly good. We had the short rib dinner which was very good & a large portion. The salmon with couscous was not as good. I had this dish a few months ago & it was exceptional but this time the couscous was room temp & no flavor. The salmon had some kind of seed seared into the top which wasn't my fave. The service was okay until it came time for the bill which was a long wait while he waited on tables around us. Hubby was not happy. Also, prices have really gone up. We stayed at the Landsby and decided to make reservations at Mad + Vin our first night in Slovang. I had the braised short rib and it was so tender on top of a heaping mountain of mashed potatoes. I Hubby ordered the chicken which just okay. Recommend choosing something else other than the chicken. Otherwise everything else was great!
Sorry, wasn't impressed! We decided to just have appetizers and choose the Brussels Sprouts, based off description, and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp were really good, but the Brussels Sprouts didn't have any flavor! Using some of the shrimp dipping sauce helped, but not much. I will say the caramel créme brûlee was amazing!
The steak frites were delicious, cocktails were really yummy as well! We got the pomegranate spritz and pineapple mezcal and they were so good!
