RecommendedHad an issue with my 1976 Evinrude outboard, she wouldn't fire up. Derrick, whos very professional and knowledgeable, took care of her with a low cost and in a timely manner. I highly recommend this facility.
Good people and amazing mechanic staff. Derrick sat with me and explained why my engine failed. He discussed options on how to prevent future break downs. I was surprised that they took all the time they did with me to make me feel comfortable while they were so busy last year. This is a high volume repair facility. They gave me more than my fair share of time.
Brought my boat here last year to fix, they said they drained the water then welded it. They put it in the water so I never knew until I pulled the boat at the end of the season, but there was water in the pontoon. I called to ask about it and got a very rude answer that it wasn't their fault. No accountability or responsiblity at Macs. Do not take your boat there for repairs. I had to have someone else repair. I can't post a pic here otherwise I could show a pic of the pontoon bubbling from lack of good work.
