Excellent Food, Superb Service, Good Prices After reading one comment (below), anybody who thinks that Mac's restaurant is "pricey" must be used to eating at McDonald's or Whattaburger. Mac's prices are about normal for a good restaurant these days. I've paid a LOT more for a LOT less in quality food and service. One extremely expensive restaurant in Downtown Fort Worth, with poor quality food and service, comes to mind. I won't give the name; but, it sounds near the Spanish word for "fresh." Elegant and Excellant Food The food is excellant and there is something for everyone on the menu. The atmosphere is more upscale than most places around, without traveling to Dallas or Fort Worth. The prices are more, but you get what you pay for: great food, service and clean well decorated restaurant.
Great Value!!! My husband and I have been regulars at Mac's for 15 years. The service is friendly and prompt but, the main reason we go is the value. No where in Arlington can you go and receive high quality, great tasting, fresh food for the price that they charge. I know you can probably go to one of the local "chain " steakhouses and get a steak. But you won't get the same quality as what you get at Mac's.
Wow, talk about pricey dinner! My husband and I have driven by this place before and decided to stop in for dinner on a recommendation by a friend (who had only had their lunches). When we finally got seated, everything on the menu was quite pricey, and I didn't see anything I liked on their. They do have a fruit bar though. We ended up not hanging around because we didn't feel like spending $50 on dinner.
