We saw Dr. Patrick Ajulo at Mercury General Practice in Belconnen for an emergency with my six-week-old baby. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. He did not seem keen to listen to my concerns as a parent, and his assessment felt rushed and dismissive. Later that same night, my baby’s condition worsened, and we had to rush to the emergency department. The doctor I saw was excellent. He listened to my concerns and gave me options for treatment and explained everything to me. The receptionists….i don’t know how they have jobs as they are not client centric, helpful or knowledgeable. I was trying to make an appointment and it was very difficult. I had to say pardons many times as there was a screen and I couldn’t hear clearly. Here's a suggestion for your Google review: --- I recently booked an appointment at Macquarie General Practice for 4 PM, but unfortunately, the doctor wasn't ready until 4:40pmPM. This delay was quite frustrating and not what I expected from a medical practice. Timeliness is crucial, especially when patients are trying to manage their schedules. I hope they can improve their appointment management in the future.
