A couple years ago I was stung by a yellow jacket on my tongue. I was scared my tongue would swell and cut off my breath. My wife called 911 and someone met us at the EMS station. They monitored me for over an hour until the swelling subsided. They may have given me Benadryl. I am a retired firefighter/EMT. I truly appreciate the kind, professional care I received. Thanks.
