The Primrose unit at Bedford is a joy to be associated with. The team are amazing - they feel more like friends than nurses and gauge the correct level of genuine empathy for each patient. I was welcomed with a cup of tea and hug when I needed it, but equally they cheered me up and laughed with me too. My visits for chemo were honestly a highlight of my cancer journey.
