Great little country store. Has large variety of products and fun things to see and buy. Staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely go back.

Very old building, Macleay has an old history. There used to be a hotel across the street if you're looking to the east, and to the west an old boarding stable and a blacksmith. I went to the Macleay Store on a wet soggy day in March. The inside was rather cluttered but had lots of antiques. To this day, you can rent VHS video cassette movies. Store owner made sure he was stocked to serve our community! So appreciate having a local place to depend on. They are great people sending love and thanks. They could of stayed home and closed but chose to help those of us that were iced in our homes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

At first the store looked cute and welcoming, but immediately after walking inside you're hit with rude political statements and merchandise making it clear that not everyone is welcome in this shop. Not to mention the flag outside that straight up said "Liberals go away". As a queer couple entering this store, it did not feel like a safe place to be caught doing something as innocent as holding my girlfriend's hand. Very sad and very disappointing.
