I flew to Sydney last week to run the Sydney Marathon but on Friday afternoon a gust of wind lodged dirt in my eye. I searched for a optmetrist that was open on Saturday morning, to no avail. By chance I walked past Macleary Optics as they were opening for the morning. Without an appointment Nick Stanley heard me explaining my situration and he said come in. This was my first multifocal prescription, and the team’s technical knowledge made all the difference — they guided me through the lens options to find the perfect match for my needs. Their service was professional, attentive, and reassuring throughout. Best pair of glasses I've had in years.
Awesome range, awesome staff, awesome after sales service.
I've met three members of the team - Debora, Marianne and Amir my optometrist. I've found all three of them to be professional, cheerful and thorough. There's an easy lightness in the place. Although I now live over 40km away, I still make the trip to Macleay Optics because, for me, they are the best:).
The worst experience and totally don’t recommend. Could write an essay on what transpired but totally not worth it. Just don’t go there.
