Travelling on vacation and picked up a piece of road debris in a tire this afternoon. We were referred to a shop who couldn’t handle it and they directed us to MacLean Performance. Walked in the shop door, explained our problem, and walked out the door in less than 30 minutes with the repair completed. Absolutely premium customer service. Car sat at the shop for 8 work days waiting for a diagnosis. After they “looked at some wiring”, and apparently reset the engine timing, they said the car was fine and gave it back. The car still ran poorly, and nothing had changed. When I called back to get an explanation I was told that the reason they did the wrong work was my fault, as I did not tell them the engine needed to be warm for the problem to occur. They clearly didn’t even look at the car long enough for the engine to get warm (10 minutes) which says a lot. Co... read more
