The room decore is true to the heritage of the pub. I had great service from the Bar and Bistro staff. Conveniently located for my needs as a return stop over between Wollongong and Brisbane.
Staff not very friendly, rooms were very cold zero heating and no blankets, had to ask staff for blankets and they were not happy to do so. Sadly it wasn't a good experience
Great meals,a different special each day.
Standard pub, cheap meals every night. Best atmosphere in Maclean after hours and sometimes there's live music. Drink prices are about standard, not ridiculous. Gaming room has reasonable returns, don't invest too heavily.
Considering it's on the river, the view could be better. Food was just OK.
