We brought my elderly mother in for an exam and Dr. Mackiw advised taking out 6 of her healthy teeth and creating a bridge. A second and third opinion from experienced oral surgeons determined this route to be totally unnecessary. In fact the other doctors were aghast that Dr. MacKiw would advise taking out healthy teeth especially from an elderly woman. I have been a patient of Dr. Mackiw's for a few years and so have many members of my family. The overall atmosphere of the office is clean and comforting. Also, the entire staff is very professional and friendly. Whenever we have any dental needs, we will continue to see Dr. Mackiw.
We've been going to Dr. Mackiw for 6 years now, after he was recommended by a friend. Now my mom and her husband go to him too. Our family has all had very positive experiences with him and his staff. Most particularly Dr. Mackiw made me a new bridge for my front teeth (which were knocked out a long time ago in a biking accident). The new bridge is absolutely cosmetically beautiful and natural and it was a great option for me instead of doing implants. He is an artist. His staff is also quite wonderful and caring.
