I have been using Mike as an accountant for 4 years now. I came from H&R which was not a good experience. Mike always answers emails promptly and communicates the results of my taxes. He answers any questions quickly and with knowledge. I've been happy with my tax returns and the service I've received and don't plan on going anywhere else.

My dad passed away in March 2024. He had not yet filed his taxes for 2023 tax year. I gathered all of his documents along with a copy of his death certificate, Letters Testmentary appointing myself as personal representative, the estate bank account information and took them to Porth and Unrein who had processed his taxes in years passed. I was a loyal client of Cherry City Tax Service for many years. When they sold the business to Mackey Porth & Unreign CPAs, it was my hope that I would experience the same customer service. My first call to them today was met with a person who clearly didn’t want to have a conversation about taking on my business even though I had asked prior to starting if now was a good time to call to discuss my account.
