I was in need of a CPA to help with the family trust and taxes. My nephew and wife highly recommended Porth Unrein Goldblatt which they’ve been going to for years. Now this is my second year having Porth Unrein Goldblatt prepare my taxes and I am very happy with them. The office is very pleasant with nice people that are knowledgeable will answer questions and help in any way. I can depend on them returning my calls and text messages.
Unfortunately there are new owners — ones (Zach) who don’t tend to care about their biggest long time clients. I’ve been a client here for 6 years and have always followed the exact same process—drop off my documents, they prepare everything, then I come in to review and pay. This year, under new ownership, that process completely broke down. I was never contacted once—no call, no email, no voicemail—saying anything was missing or that my return wasn’t being filed. I have been using Mike as an accountant for 4 years now. I came from H&R which was not a good experience. Mike always answers emails promptly and communicates the results of my taxes. He answers any questions quickly and with knowledge. I've been happy with my tax returns and the service I've received and don't plan on going anywhere else.
They are so smart and kind, they fixed all the mistakes our previous cpa made & Renae is the best receptionist.
My dad passed away in March 2024. He had not yet filed his taxes for 2023 tax year. I gathered all of his documents along with a copy of his death certificate, Letters Testmentary appointing myself as personal representative, the estate bank account information and took them to Porth and Unrein who had processed his taxes in years passed.
