So my dad and I were staying in Mackay to visit my older brothers. My brothers came to our hotel and we sat out on the chairs eating pizza and talking. We were being quiet and respectful of other residents who were staying there. Good value motel at the entrance of Mackay. Modest rooms which are clean and comfortable. Recommended...
Clean and tidy rooms, great staff to deal with. There were a few things that could have been done to improve the room tho, somewhere to hang clothes, shelves in the fridge and ironing board in the room I was in. These are just little things, but would make a huge difference to the comfort of any guest staying here.

The place is budget accommodation and suitably priced, the beds we super comfortable and the Shamrock Hotel was easy stroll for dinner.
