Edit for 2026: there are new owners at this location and I have not had any experience with them. We appreciated Jon's demeanor and expertise very much and followed him to Berdar's in Cohoes. Jon is an honest and reliable mechanic with a great attitude, very helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend MACK Auto, and encourage you to bring your business there and see for yourself.

Under the new owners, they have shown me what the problem is, estimated a cost before I authorize service and have fixed what the problem is with no surprises. They try to give you the best price possible and even if it takes longer than they quote, they will not overcharge.
