Machus is pretty great. If you have questions / need help, there are people around but if you want to be self-directed they won't pester you. Everybody I've talked to here (including the owner) has been super nice. They have wide-ranging style; from selvedge denim to more European looks. I got the kiddo a pair of Naked and Famous here for example. But they also have super boutique-y stuff if that's your style. Been to this store twice, pretty lovely curation and collection. Didn’t have much interaction with the staffs tho. Hope they could have more known brands. Would like to stop by again when visiting Portland!
The store itself is really beautiful, quite elegant and the clothing is high quality and totally my style. That said the staff could be a bit more helpful, especially considering how high the prices are. There are very few more affordable options.
