This was our first time seeking a general contractor for a garage/loft idea. I’m honestly baffled the way the conversation went. I felt like he was talking to me like I was dumb, not understanding, etc. To also note, not sure if this was a side jab or a construction term he used, but calling our house “mid”? I’m sorry it’s not a luxury, custom built home. I had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Machen and his team (John Paul specifically was excellent) were great to work with and their final product was equally fantastic! Super communicative throughout the project, transparent about costs and timelines, and very helpful in making sure the house turned out exactly as I had hoped.
