Machin was hired for a small job which turned into a huge job. He sends unsupervised subcontractors who sometimes sent subcontractors themselves, didn't speak English and did terrible work with no pride in the result and treated the yard and the home as a dumpster (even though there was a dumpster out front). No inspections were passed on the first or second try, everything from electrical, tile, paint, cement, and full on new construction had numerous mistakes made, which he was reluctant and very slow to address. Machen, JP, and the team lovingly brought to life the vision we had for an older home, purchased in TR. Not being from the area, we entrusted Machen Custom Homes with renovations, while living remotely, and received constant updates during the progress.
