This place is great except the Building manager Marnie. We had someone break into our storage locker and steal stuff Including priceless things from deceased grandparents. We filed a police report since there are cameras. Marnie was contacted many times by the police and ignored all of it. Now there is no chance of getting any of it back.
The visitor parking here is a joke. Came one evening at around 6:45pm. The maximum is 10 hours, which is a bit ridiculous because nobody is ever parked in the stalls, but assumed I might be fine since I was leaving by 5:30am for work. Came out to a ticket on my windshield written at 5:10am. I’ve seen multiple vehicles with tickets early in the morning. Nice newer apartments. Terrible guest parking requires registration and is limited to 24hr stay max. Parking is a big issue in the surrounding neighbourhood as well so good luck finding street parking without walking several blocks. Additionally the lack of adequate parking provided causes overspill into the street and is unfair to local homeowners who can't find parking in front of their own properties.
Looks like this complex has everything you could want in a rental. It's unfortunate that their manager has the communication skills of a toddler. She was extremely rude and unaccommodating, stating that she only book viewings Monday to Friday up until 4 pm. The nature of the service she is meant to provide dictates that flexible hours and AT LEAST ONE EVENING OPTION are required. If this is any indication of what it is like to reside in this complex I definitely recommend you continue your search.
I am currently living here and I thinkit is a great building with even better building management. Every morning there is a lovely kind lady cleaning and vacumming the lobby, halls, and the underground parking main floor area. The building manager is a very kind man. When I was at work I had received a package requiring a signature so I gave him a call and he was more than happy to help me out and grab my package for me. Very kind man, very kind lady. Definitely makes me feel at home
