Dr. Fernandes is an excellent doctor. I am normally nervous in medical situations and I felt at ease in this clinic. He is respectful, listens to patients, and is thorough in solving problems while avoiding common doctortraps of being intimidating, intrusive, or paternalistic. I felt I was in control of my healthcare and he had some good ideas for management. He also took the time to listen to all my concerns. I highly recommend this clinic if you are a student or faculty member.
I do not recommend coming here. Some doctors are fine, but you'll never see the doc. You see no one but residents. The resident I got refused to listen to me. She got an idea in her head and went with what she thought rather than what I was telling her. Wouldn't listen to me at all, as if I'm not the person on the medication and know what's causing which issues. I’ve been seeing Dr. Kijewski since 2019 and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her. She genuinely cares about her patient’s wellbeing and is willing to do anything in her power to help you out. She’s very patient and attentive and will always listen to you without judgement. I honestly cannot recommend her enough!
Staff at reception need to be reeducated on pt confidentiality. There’s no reason to shout someone’s legal name and address so the entire clinic can hear..
Great clinic! Clean facility, organized staff, and helpful doctors who take your concerns seriously and explain everything.
