Perfect Italian restaurant for Valentine’s weekend. My risotto adriattico was excellent, but my friend found the Langanelle San Giuseppe pasta mealy and bland. The female server (taller, thin, dark hair) who bussed our table was very rude and had a bad attitude. She asked me to keep my fork when clearing the appetizer plates — very strange practice for quality restaurants in Chicago — and she was obviously displeased by my confusion. My partner and I recently visited Macello for the first time, and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and attentive.
