I purchased a brand-new 2024 Jeep from Macdonald Motors in Bridgton, Maine, in October 2024. The salesman and his team at that time were excellent. Fast forward to Summer 2025. The Jeep began having intermittent starting issues. I brought it in for service three different times for the same problem. During the last visit, the dealership kept the vehicle for two weeks and stated that the issue had been corrected with a software update. The vehicle has started reliably since then. We called Macdonald Motors to inquire about why the brand new truck transmission Shutters when driving it. We called two times and was transferred to A Woman who's VM said they return 'all calls' yet never heard back. Macdonald DID NOT perform anything on my truck. In fact the battery was dead when we bought the brand new truck. We had to seek help elsewhere ( another dealer) The Macdonald service Mgr told me that the truck will shift weird ( brand new) because it's adapting to my driving style?
