TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! If you're in the market for a rental, and it says "Listed by Macdoc" just keep scrolling, honey. We have been suffering with these slumlords since the day we moved in. March 2023, yall..we have had TERMITES, MICE, ANTS, ROOF REPLACEMENT from leaks, among SO so much more in this short amount of time (just a few months) we have a child almost 2 and I am pregnant, so of course we asked to switch to a different unit after all these issues or to just get out of the lease with out penalty but they say ... read more

MacDoc is a terrible property management company. They charge you $25 a month for an app you are required to have so you can pay rent and put in requests for repairs and communicate with them. They will not answer emails sent to the office they tell you to put it in the app. Then when your lease is up they cut you off from the place that has all your communications with them so you cannot look back at things if they're needed. This Property Management is nothing good at all! From the Maintence to the office Ladies , especially Joyce. Everything they have is trash , "You will see"! If you go through hard times ( not even your own doing) they wont care about what you got going on only whats most important to there company! I remember when they first started in this area no one would rent so they had to become the Management Property that would rent to those with bad credit. This Company is by far the worst Property Management we have ever dealt with. We rented a home from them for years and when our Goverment shut everything down it affected us tremendously. Following that event my Health started to decline. We were able to still remain paying the full rent in 2020 and 2021 then in 2022 we were late 1 month and we were taking to Court and thrown out after years of on time payments. I love Buildium, your automatic deposits and your customer service. The fact that I can call during business hours and get a person is reassuring. And even better, Stephanie responds to my emails usually within a few hours.
