Each member (Volunteers, not paid) gives at least 36 hours a year training minimum, most will give hundreds of hours. When everyone else is running away or calling for help, these wonderful people get out of bed, after working 12 hour day, work a fire call for hours. then get up and go back to work without sleep. As do almost 80 percent of all firefighters in the US. Praise the Lord for you and every volunteer firefighter.
