Went in with an abscess. Doctor refused to lance it, I said I didn’t want to be put to sleep. He said I have to be put to sleep. Iv had this minor op many times without this… what a waste of time I walked out and I will go to another hospital tommorow while still in pain. Nonsense, use your common sense!!

macclesfield its self is ok, the hospital is better, im a looked after child, and due to my age still didnt get seen sooner. at first we were told 2 hours, then 5-6 then 8-10. but after being there from 7:30pm till 4:00am the next day i was finally seen, thankfully my carer and i made friends with an elderly couple, then a dad and his daughter, and then a couple. they were all very talkative so my allergic reaction was easier to ignore as i was occupied, we did have a lovely worker bring tea & coffee round, unfortunately it ... read more

I attended A&E twice this week in a lot of pain. On the second visit early in the morning when the issue was properly identified the support was fantastic Every single individual was so friendly and comforting. It is not easy being in pain and not properly understanding why so that, for me, was very stressful. But thank you all at Macc A&E.
