I am currently a resident at the City Plaza Apartments in Escondido, Ca! I have been a resident at this location since 2018 and all of sudden the lady that manage the building is trying to charge us a pet deposit that we paid for when we first moved in back in 2018. This is a new land lease company for our resort, never once in 25 yrs did u ever have a late fee. Well this company doesn’t went to spell it out for you just saying it’s late after the 1st, well it’s due in the 1st so I don’t think it can be late in the 2 nd. I asked them to forgive a late payment as it was confusing for many of us. They can’t do that!🤦🏼♀️ terrible customer service and a $50.00 late fee on $139 is ridiculous. Never answer their phones. Poor Management, Zero Accountability I would strongly caution anyone considering a property managed by CTM Apartment Services. The lack of oversight, accountability, and basic operational control is extremely concerning. Maintenance issues are not handled in a timely or effective manner, and after-hours emergencies are often neglected. This creates larger, preventable problems that ultimately fall on the onsite teams and, worse, the residents. This Pertains to Vista gardens 555 E Fruitvale Ave Hemet CA and Their management company CTM. I have not lived at Vista Gardens for the past four years, yet management is refusing to remove my name from the lease. In April 2025, the property manager, Janel, confirmed in writing that if I completed and returned the lease addendum provided by the office, I would be removed from the lease. Took over my building back in January and no one ever is on site nor answers the phone. Everyone is very friendly when you can get ahold of them or when they happen to occasionally show up. They started off okay but not sure what’s happened since.
