The hostess sent us up to the bar upstairs that just opened today. Only wine and champagne. No liquor drinks. We ordered a half bottle of champagne . Got the bill and it was $98 plus $112 total? Then went down stairs to dinner. Salad was good but pasta was under cooked. Not the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to. Would not recommend or go back. Very disappointed.
Server was very attentive, both of our entrees were excellent and ricotta cheesecake for dessert capped off a very good experience.
Such an incredible restaurant. The chef prepares each dish. The homemade meatballs and Italian sausage, red sauce and salad dressing are not to be missed. Exceptional service. Highly recommend!
This place has really gone down hill. They are always out of popular items on the menu. They do not adhere to their hours of operation so there is a good chance you will be turned away. The owner and his employees have terrible attitudes, especially the hostess. Food is mediocre and not worth the hassle.
Great Italian food! I have been dining at Macaluso's for many years for numerous reasons. Firstly, the charming antique home in which it resides is decorated perfectly with black and white photos of the chef/owner's family which reminds me of my family and just brings you back in time, and the grounds are just lovely.
