This is the best spicy chicken sandwich in Gilroy. Large chicken breast, cooked tender and coated with seasoning and spices. It was crispy and plenty. It comes in 5 steps of spicy. Order low spice (1 or 2). It’s big and may want to share for kids. A larger bun may help to contain the huge chicken chicken and tasty topping toppings.
Macaco is my new neighborhood favorite and I can’t recommend it enough. The moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in the most charming jungle theme—monkeys everywhere—and it’s impossible not to smile (fittingly, “macaco” means monkey). Went to Gilroy Gardens and when we left we were looking for something yummy fast and not overpriced. This place was AMAZING! Or maybe I was just super hungry and really impressed by their prices 🤣🤌 no seriously it was so good! Glad we skipped the chick fill a at the park and went to a real chicken sandwich place. Now this place needs to expand to my hometown.
