Disastrous leasing team combining with the poor management - I mean, even the leasing team is disastrous, why?!
Mac property is with there renting process I been dealing it them since April of this year trying to rent a place with them through CHA they keep denying the rental agreement there asking $3800 for a place a CHA is offering them $3400 and they will not take it I’ve seen 5 places with Mac and 4 they denied the move for a few hundred dollars and one place was not up to code then to top it off the asked me for $1138 and only refunding me $1050 and there saying it’s going to take 2-4 weeks to get my money but it definitely didn’... read more
This company is extremely unprofessional. After moving out, they charged me an unjustified fine and have ignored every attempt I’ve made to contact them about it—calls, emails, and resident portal messages all go unanswered. Of course, I've also contacted them through the standard email address they use in the response to negative reviews. Never got an answer.
Mac Properties Leasing staff (shout out to Mr. Amari Early) was phenomenal. I have dealt with many leasing agents and other folks trying to sell you a dream only to be turned into a nightmare. This was not the case here. The amazing team at MAC had me in a unit from first contact in less than a week! Best of all, Mr. Early was extremely responsive, helpful, friendly and FAST! If you need to rent close to the University of Chicago, MAC properties team definitely has got you covered!!
This was my first move in experience, looked for months for potential place to live and nothing was like the unit I signed for. it was a nerve wrecking experience, but Mac Properties made it possible to make my ideal place a reality. I appreciate their high level of professionalism, great sense of knowledge and the quality of spaces I viewed.
