I inquired about scheduling a tour to see a few units while I was in Chicago for work. I live on the east coast and don't frequent Chicago. Salamantu refused to schedule a tour with me since my move in date isn't until next year. Incredibly unimpressed with Mac Properties and I have only been here for ONE month. The leasing team has no regard for attention to detail and management has such poor communication skills it’s astounding. They need to work on many things if they are even remotely interested in resident retention and providing a positive experience at all. Awesome experience with the management. They really try to help you no matter the situation. I would live with Mac properties in future, if i ever move back to Chicago.
I have been living at City Hyde Park since 2019. There has been a rapid decline in service while a significant increase in rent. Example : our hallway carpets are filthy. I’ve reported via app no response. Sent emails with pics to property management team, still nothing. Now waiting on someone at another apt bldg to assist. Is wanting a clean common area too much to ask? It’s been 3 weeks. I am not getting the services I am paying for.
