They are not interested in small engine repair as they charge $150 for an initial diagnostics and an hourly charge of ~$150 an hour. They want to sell you a new machine and say they will service it for a different rate than servicing a machine off the street. It’s hard to believe their pitch after they quoted a huge fee to look at a Kohler engine.

My Sears Craftsman 2600, w/Honda 160cc engine quit on me just when I needed it. I thought about a replacement but decided to see how much repairing it would cost. After searching the area for a good small engine repair shop, I feel that I was lucky to find Mac Daddy. Great place to bring your mud boat for warranty work or motor repairs if you’re in the Tampa Bay Area. Eddy the owner and his staff are extremely honest and keep you updated through out the entire warranty process. They handled some warranty work on my gator tail motor and went above and beyond. I read some negative reviews about this place, after having such outstanding customer service here I find the reviews extremely hard to believe. Probably Karen’s that have no life and impossible to make happy.

This place is not recommend. The care and service and the kindness was table. The girl that answered the phone didn't have any kindness .my mower in for a transmission replacement, it was under warranty. It was only not even a year old. Told me a stick bent the deck .the hood was broke inside the bottom. The blades needed to be sharpen tried sending me a bill for over $ 200 for others problems it dint even have the mower was great before it went to mcdaddys for service ..Won't send my mower there .
