I went into a MAC store recently to pick up a few last-minute items, and the experience left me feeling genuinely uncomfortable. It was near closing, and the only people there were the manager, an employee, and me. I started chatting with the employee, and when the manager joined, I tried to include her by asking a simple question. I want to take a moment to recognize an exceptional customer experience. Thank you to Kelly at MAC Cosmetics in Sherway Gardens. I came in last week not feeling like myself and struggling to figure out what works with my evolving hair colour (hello grey highlights and natural brown) and green/hazel eyes. I had a great experience being helped by Kanika. She was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with my decisions. What stood out the most was her professionalism and genuine willingness to help, without making anything feel rushed or pressured. Customer service like this is rare.

Needed to freshen up my mac makeup collection, and I went in today and asked if they still offered free makeup instructions, if actually purchasing product - and was told no - that now a 20% discount was applied to what is actually purchased when getting makeup instructions, but the starting price is $50++ oh well. Guess I need to move on from my 20 years plus using Mac.
