I used to like and trust Mike but last time I went in I had a flashing engine light and backfiring exhaust problem and was also do for inspection . I had had it to another mechanic that wasn't able to fix it . Mike said it might be blah blah blah and it would cost $400 but if that didn't work he'd have to also do Blah blah at another $300 . Of course in the end it was $700 . He told me it might need tweaking and to make sure to come see him before I took it for inspection . When I ventured into the scary world of car ownership, I was blessed with a tower's recommendation: "Need a mechanic? Go see MAC!' I have had the best service ever! He's honest, fully explains what's needed and why, and is very reasonable. I won't take my cars anywhere else.

"Mac" and his crew really are experts at keeping a car together and functioning. Mac will also let you know when in is time to stop putting any more money into your charriot. He will thoroughly explain why a certain repair should (or not) be repaired. They will go the extra mile to satisfy you (with a REASONABLE requwst).
