I dunno how this place has got above 4 stars. Service was glacier slow for a half restaurant full dinner and fortunately the waiter noticed and comped our appetizers. Food was fine, but my burger was not medium as asked, but was still mooing. The hostess barely said hello and not even a welcome; same with the wait staff. Dessert was fine.
What a beautiful restaurant! Gracious servers and delicious food. Great fun to dine outside with live musicians! We went just as Mable's was opening for the evening. Weather was perfect!
My wife and I recently celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary by dining at Mable’s Restaurant and Patio. Having never been there before, but hearing good things, we had high hopes for a good experience. Mabel’s did not disappoint. If I could give it a zero I would. Walked in to empty dining room for breakfast (I know why now) the hostess acted like there were no available seats. Finally the manager looks up from her laptop and says sit anywhere. We are seated and then forgot about. The waitress attempted small talk by asking us twice if we were staying the hotel, this is important to what happens next. We place our order and wait. Phenomenal spot. Patio is in the middle of the woods with killer views down to the valley+bay, food was excellent, and great cocktails. We came for dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday, then breakfast the next day — our servers Bob+Brian gave us a 10/10 experience.
