In my search to find unique coffee shops, I checked out Maaribu. I don’t know how I’ve driven by this place so many times and never noticed it before! They have a small parking lot on the side, along with a few spots specifically for takeout. As the name suggests, it’s also a gift store, which makes the place even more unique. I wanted to like this place, but my drink missed the mark. I ordered the 16oz Matcha + Moringa Latte for $8.25 and the cup came underfilled for the size and price. Flavor-wise it fell flat too. Matcha and moringa are the entire reason to order this and neither flavor came through. It just tasted like sweetened milk which I could have done myself. For a specialty latte at that price point, I expected to taste the star ingredients. Disappointed, and wouldn’t order this again.

The coffee is ok but definitely not worth $6.5 before tip. (Normal coffee). Garden is beautiful though.

One of the most underrated coffee shops in Austin! All of their drinks are delicious and also their baked goods. Wished I lived closer to come more often!
