Dr Barhoum is terrible at communication. He does not explain answers to questions well, and has trouble explaining in a way that the patient understands. He shuts you down because his way is the only answer. He ignored my questions multiple times. Only tells you what he wants to say and doesn't care about answering your questions or helping you. He talks down to you and is very disrespectful. Office staff seems nice, but this doctor is not somebody I would ever recommend.
I saw Dr Barhoum twice. Both times he was condescending and unfriendly. He asked if I had questions but then seemed annoyed that I had asked it. Unfortunately he is not a doctor that I can work with. He was not helpful in explaining what was going on with my condition. He seemed to have already decided that I needed surgery and there was no reason to discuss it any further. Evidently, I was supposed to just take his word for that. I do not recommend him.

Speaking on behalf an elderly mother with type II diabetes, I can say that Dr. Maan Barhoum was not only rude and difficult to work with, but he also passively denied my Spanish speaking mother an interpreter, nor did he allow one of my family members to explain everything over the phone. I would steer clear of this doctor and try to find a healthcare professional that is both caring and compassionate of a patient’s needs.
Dr Barhoun is very rude disrespectful, does not listen to his patients! All he wants is their money! His staff is very rude especially the heavy set one that is supposedly the manager who does not know what she’s doing! Also the older blonde lady is a joke! He will disrespect you and tell you how much weight you have gained when he clearly does not have a small size staff smh! His entire staff looks miserable and mad all the time! If you want a Dr that cares save your money and do NOT patronize this lousy Dr
