The Maaco Center at Sarasota 1570 N Washington Sarasota, Florida 34236 The customer service and workmanship at this body repair center was at best poor. I am not sure if anyone there is qualified to run this business. I contacted Grant 2 months in advance to set up a date. Was told 1.5 to 2 weeks for repairs. It was agreed on and I dropped the vehicle off on the 20th of April. I called and verified if this date would still work in the schedule on the 18th of April. Checked on it on the 3rd of May. Worst experience I have ever had! I went in to have my bumper repaired. The bumper did not line up with the rest of the car, there was over spray all over the grill, and chips in the paint. You could see where they taped it off to paint. They wiped the over spray off n told me that my bumper would never line up b/c it was bent; like I was just going to be okay with that. I then got to spend weeks going back n forth between them n the insurance company. The insurance company finally gave me a check to just replace the bumper ... read more

I brought a 2001 Toyota Tacoma in to have it painted and 2 minor body repairs on December 29, 2015 at Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting at 8100 North Rockwell. I purchased the surface reconditioning package along with the next to highest quality paint job for the entire vehicle. After about 10 days, which is now about January 11, 2016, I stopped by to check the progress and saw that the truck had been painted. I drove from mustang ok and showed up there at 9 am saturday morning 11/07/2015. The sign on the door said they open at 9. Nobody was there. I called just to make sure they hadn't lost track of time but nobody answered. At 9:15 i drove to the maaco on theI-240 service road just east of shields. Make sure you call before you head out there. Otherwise you might end up wasting your time and gas lile i did.
