I have lived at MAA National Landing for multiple years now. Prior to the past year I would have said that living here has been great - in the past year though I have been repeatedly disapointed in the handling of things. First, in the winter be prepared for numerous fire alarms due to leaks or flooding in the retail spaces - this past winter is was almost once a week at one point. Tyler Brown did a great job repairing the garbage disposal, fixing the microwave filter and replacing the AC filter. He was aslo very quick in assessing the problem and fixing it. Kudos to the team for a quick response. Thank you Ty!
I was looking for a place to live near the Pentagon and I walked into the front office of MAA without an appointment. I was met by this wonderful associate of the company named Danica. Danica was super professional, knowledgeable and was happy to show me around the property. There are many places to live in the area but I picked this place because of Danica. She’s a great representative of your company. You’re lucky to have someone like Danica on your team. I’ll refer anyone who needs a place to reside in area to Danica.
**Update** 8/3/2026 Ok, Since leaving my original review, things have changed. Transitioning to a new mail system and meeting the staff on a more personal level have made this place the home I love. Using something called "Fetch Delivery" has absolutely solved every single delivery problem that I've had in the past. I'm not fighting to find my packages in a mailroom; I'm being treated like I have a home, and my deliveries come... to me!! Finding your own package here is like mission impossible. We’ve been living here for 4 years now and every Black Friday is a disaster. Instead of fixing the package room or adding package room to each building, now that the management is “forcing” residence to sign up for fetch (which is not free and we have to pay monthly out-of-pocket) to have package delivered to the door - in my opinion this is ridiculous.
