The MAA Market Center is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. To start, management is rude and unprofessional; there were always maintenance issues, and for the size of the apartment, the pricing is outrageous. Management will take any excuse to add extra fees, as they are a money-hungry complex. They charged me $600 + ($50 monthly) for my ESAs after providing documentation as to why I needed them. Apartment smells of curry. My self, my clothes and all my belonging have the scent. It is such an overwhelming and unsettling stench to live in and be completely overcome by and there is no escaping it. Nothing gets rid of the constant smell. Big roaches all over the property as well. I prefer the roaches.
I’ve lived in this complex since 2020 And what can I tell you… things have gone down since than… They used to background check everyone and let the decent, normal, clean people in. Now they let just about anyone in. After living here for so long I can tell you this… The gym isn’t up to date at all, and every other day something breaks there and of course they take months to fix it. Victor Santos was here to repair faulty water heater. He is so very thorough, courteous, and professional. We are totally satisfied with his work. He’s knowledgeable and hard working. He is an awesome asset to MAA.
I’ve been living here for over a year, and I’m quite satisfied with the building’s amenities. Overall, it’s a good place to live. However, the biggest issue is that construction work and daily maintenance tasks—such as leaf raking and lawn mowing—often start VERY EARLY in the MORNING. It’s quite disturbing for the residents.
