Update. MAA contacted me and have offered to credit back my last months rent. It does not fully cover my moving costs but is better than nothing so I'm changing to 2 stars. They should have let me transfer sooner than the 6 months waiting period so I would not have to go through this for so long. The dog is still here and still barking hours per day but evicting someone over it appears to be an impossible task for them. They also say they have not heard it. The Links of Carrollwood has been a good complex and I always felt safe here and comfortable for over 5 years. The office has always been professional and helpful regarding any maintenance and overall assistance. Due to my health, I have to move in with my son. Awilda has been very helpful and supportive with my upcoming move. Many thanks to the Links management.
Please choose wisely. This is a very old complex but the units are remodeled nicely. Many had hurricane damage from Oct 2024. I moved in within days. The ceilings and walls were painted over with kilz and paint. After more than 6 months the smell is very pungent. They only patched the roofs, they are very old and need full replacement. Maintenance requests are always addressed promptly and communication is always efficient! Alejandro is consistently helpful and is always picking up trash when he sees it on top of everything else he does!
